The LINX Reflux Management System

Treatments for acid reflux are constantly being researched and advanced so that more effective and less traumatic procedures can be developed. The LINX Reflux Management System is a testament to the dedication shown in providing lifelong solutions for managing acid reflux.

LINX is a unique implantable device that is composed of multiple magnetic beads that are strung together with a titanium wire, resembling a beaded bracelet. The device is positioned around the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which is the source of reflux issues.

The LINX device will keep the LES closed with the strength of its magnets. This prevents the acid and bile within the stomach from flowing into the esophagus, where it can cause pain and damage the lining of the esophagus.

The LINX was created to be a permanent implant that allows the recipient to effectively manage the symptoms experienced from gastric reflux for life.

Center for Esophageal Wellness is one of the select few facilities currently offering the LINX Reflux Management System, We have more experience with LINX and foregut surgery than any surgeon in the Rocky Mountain Region.
